Pendants & Pendicles
Now what can I tell you about pendants? Pendants are pendicles which dangle from a length of chain. You know this already so that last sentence must have been a real bore to read. Shall we have another go at getting excited and talk about chains instead? Trust me - you do want to hear about my chains. If I mentioned Swarovski crystals would that attract your attention?
As I have said elsewhere on this site, I have this rule that jewellery should flatter from all angles so if something has to fasten, it's got to fasten in style! I therefore handwire a toggle fastening to my chosen length of chain & as you can see above, I trap a Swarovski crystal in the wire. If a design has a little edge to it, then I use a sterling silver bead instead. All this adds up to a pendant with pizzazz! So if a gentleman comes calling, turn your back on him & flirt!
