I am extremely fortunate to have received the following reviews for which I would like to express my immense thanks & gratitude.

I am very privileged to be able to publish the following review by Jean Yates, a well known & highly regarded jewellery designer. Jean is equally revered for her gifts as a wordsmith. As an author who has covered a wide range of subjects, she offers her readers so many facets - always intelliigent, witty, poignant & considered. She has writing a book called 'Links' about the art of jewellery design which will be published in the new year. Her articles and reviews are greediily consumed by myself & her other fans and admirers.
Having my work reviewed by Jean is a tremendous honour - I am walking on air.
You ask: can a bead be a work of art? Of course, and there are museums devoted to them. However, can the bead be taken further into the realm of art in the capable and talented hands of an educated, energetic, and gifted jewellery designer? The answer again is yes! I look around me at the beautiful creations you have pulled out of your heart and soul, and I am amazed. Ultimately, it isn't solely the beads, although, as you know, I love many of the same bead artists you do...it is the jewellery designer! I would like to testitify that you have created art on your site, using materials which are beautiful, in a spectacular and uniquely wondrous manner which belongs to you alone!
Thank you for giving me the chance to say this!
With Greatest Respect,
Jean Yates

The highly acclaimed bead artist, Emma Ralph, kindly wrote this on her website:
'This stunning collection of jewellery arrived with me so beautifully packaged that it was almost a sin to even open it.
Sin I did though and opened it as quickly as I could, for I knew it contained some Jennifer Dangerfield jewellery and I wasn't about to prolong the wait!
Imagine my delight when I saw one of Jennifer's beautiful pendant and earring sets. She has used my lampwork beads
with sterling silver - and I know I always say this, but I just love how Jennifer works with my beads. She always seems to bring them to life so well.'
As you may have noticed, I am a devoted fan of Emma's work. I'm extremely fortunate to have a magnificent collection of her glass, ceramic & poylmer art beads. Emma pushes the boundaries so her work is always fresh & exciting. As a colourist, her talent in second to none.
Like Jean, she's another gifted writer and the author of 'Polymer Clay in a Day' & 'Get Creative with Polymer Clay', both of which I highly recommend.

Laura Sparling is another internationally known artist whose work is much sought after. I myself jump at the chance to buy her beads - indeed it was Laura's beads that inspired my Wave bracelets. Laura has kindly allowed me to quote the following:
'I was reading the last issue of Vogue studying all the jewellery in great detail and I kept thinking 'Ugh!'. Jennifer - Vogue needs your wearable art!'
Laura gave me some more pertinent advice & I'm working on this one!
'Your website is growing more & more gobsmackingly gorgeous by the day! I check it daily ( sometimes more that once just to ogle your jewellery) and every new piece you add makes me smile.

Another art glass bead artist that I admire is Beverley Hicklin. Not only was she responsible for the beautiful beads on the home page, but she also created the set featured in 'Beach' - the chain bracelet which is the first prize in 'The Postcardian' draw. The following quote comes from an email which I will treasure forever:
'I should have added how GORGEOUS 'Beach’ is. Very reminiscent of some Corfu seas I’ve been gazing at lately…..what a beautiful bracelet. Your interpretations of my beads are just so spot on! I want it now!'

Melanie Moertel is rapidly becoming one of the most famous glass artists in the world. People are clamouring to buy her work - I'm proud to say that I am one of them. I urge you to visit Melanie's website to see further examples of her witty, graphic & painterly beads. The skill with which she creates her beads will leave you breathless in astonishment!
As you can probably imagine, when I received Melanie's email about the bracelet pictured above, I was dancing on air. She has kindly allowed me to quote from her letter.
'thank you so much for those beautiful photos.
I LOVE the way you worked with my beads, the combination of the unicolored crystal rocks, the silver and the playful glassbeads is fantastic. It looks so light and summery. Many thanks for working so sensitive with my beads and combining them in such a perfect way '

These earrings were the third prize in The Postcardian Draw. They were won by Jean Yates & there now follows a copy of the most beautiful letter.
I have received my stunning, stunning purple and swirled earrings from The Postcardian Competition! The Competition! That great thing you did which helped us all, and made us aware of the 'Ovarian Cancer Action' organization. The softly etched and perfectly made beads by Laura Sparling are framed by you in sterling silver, as only you can frame them. They are beautiful! I am so lucky! You create with a mindful heart and soul which makes sense of everything you set your hands to. If I could own all your pieces, I would have a giant treasure chest of glorious dreams, made into reality, by you! The other pieces which I have from you are equally as fantastic and exquisitely fashioned. I am amazed every time I gaze at your work as it takes me on a journey of delight! There is always something new to see! How do you DO that? I think it is because your creativity truly does know no bounds. I am in awe of your wonderful way with beads, wire, sterling, other elements you choose to use...I am in awe of YOU!
In gratitude,
Jean
Every time i read Jean's sweet letter, I cry. Thank you for such a wonderful & deeply moving letter.
